Calendula Dried Petal Confetti

Natural, dried petal wedding confetti petals. Biodegradable, golden, yellow, Calendula (sometimes called Marigold) wildflower dried petals that are perfect for mixing in wedding confetti to add a flash of vibrant colour to your confetti mix. The dried petals are 100% natural and biodegradable.

Our tip: Calendula is best mixed with other petals as it tends to clump together when on its own.

Please note: our petals are not for food use.

Volume of Petals

We measure the confetti petals in litres.

They're measured in a good old fashioned kitchen measuring jug ... loosely filled with petals to the 1/2 litre or 1 litre mark (they are not pressed down) & gently tipped into its packaging ready for dispatch. 

Handy Hints

1 litre will fill around 10 standard confetti cones (or 10 handfuls) ... depending on how generous you want to be.

We advise they be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct light. The light will fade & humidity encourages the biodegrading process.

Petal storage life depends on the petal type.

The larkspur, calendula, jasmine, lavender, heat-dried rose, and preserved rose petals can keep for up to one year (or longer) provided they are stored carefully.

Stored perfectly, the freeze-dried petals can last for 4-6 months. However, the freeze-dried petals are much more susceptible to the biodegrading process. As the average home tends to be quite warm and humid, especially over the summer months, we wouldn't recommend you purchase these too far in advance. Our advice is to aim to receive your delivery around 2-4 weeks prior to your wedding/event date.

The petals must be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

If you're looking to purchase your petals now, but your wedding's not for a few months, you can ask us to delay dispatch. The Pre-Order Service now comes with a choice of two dispatch options - choose from either 3 weeks or 1 week* prior to your wedding date (6 weeks if you're international). That way you can tick a job off the list without having to worry about a product being out of stock, or long term storage of your petals and you'll know that you'll have petals that look great on your big day.

*If you select the 1 week prior to the wedding date option, we recommend upgrading delivery to one of our Express postage options at checkout to ensure the package arrives in time. Please note: we are not able to guarantee delivery within a week with our standard postage options.

The Pre-Order Service is particularly useful if you're wanting to purchase some of our personalised or crafted-to-order products. These products require some preparation time prior to dispatch and we can become fully booked at busy times, such as peak wedding season. The Pre-Order Service allows you to get booked into our diary in plenty of time and avoid any last-minute disappointment.

Please note: if you select the Pre-Order Service on one or more items in your order, delayed dispatch will apply to all of the items within that order - all items are sent together in one package. If you wish to purchase some items with delayed dispatch and some items for dispatch immediately, you will need to place two separate orders.

If you select the Pre-Order Service and your dispatch date is already due, it's not necessary to book your order into the diary - in this case, the Pre-Order Service is not necessary and we will simply pop you into the regular queue for dispatch.

We aim to dispatch most orders within 1-3 business days* once payment is received.
*Crafted and personalised items carry a longer processing timescale - which may be up to 10 business days at peak times.

STANDARD DELIVERY
Royal Mail 2nd Class is free on UK orders over £60 - delivery is estimated 2-5 business days after posting.

EXPRESS DELIVERY
We offer two express delivery options. Please read the following details to make sure you select the correct service for your needs.

Both express services include express dispatch for eligible orders (excludes crafted/made-to-order items). If you place your order before 11am, Monday-Friday, your parcel will be dispatched the same business day.

The Express Service: Royal Mail Tracked 24 (estimated delivery 1-2 business days)
With this option, your parcel will be dispatched via the Royal Mail Tracked 24 service, which has a delivery aim of 1 business day. Please note, while next-day delivery is likely, Royal Mail do not guarantee next-day delivery with this service.

The Express Service: Special Delivery (guaranteed next-day delivery service)
With this option, your parcel will be dispatched via the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which is guaranteed to be out for delivery the following business day after posting (Mon-Fri).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International packages are sent Tracked Airmail and come with tracking reference numbers. International delivery usually arrives in 5-10 business days after posting, but please allow up to 20 business days.
